North Manchester FM: Hannah’s Bookshelf, Saturday 11 March, 2-4pm

Join me this Saturday at 2pm for Hannah’s Bookshelf on North Manchester FM. This week, my guest will be the brill Kiri Pritchard-McLean.

Welsh Comedian Kiri has been making something of a name for herself in the short time she’s being performing stand up comedy and has achieved further success as one quarter of multi-award winning sketch group Gein’s Family Giftshop (in capacity as writer/director). A unique and assured comic voice, Kiri is whip smart with material to match. An apprenticeship on the North West comedy scene equips Kiri with a presence beyond her years and the rare ability to be challenging in her material without alienating her audience.

I’ll be chatting to Kiri about her writing and performance work, and about comedy writing in general. And, of course, she’ll be sharing her selections for this week’s Apocalypse Books.

Tune in on Saturday at 2pm on 106.6FM (if you’re in the North Manchester area) or listen online (if you’re further afield).
