North Manchester FM: Hannah’s Bookshelf, Saturday 11 November, 2-4pm

Tune in to North Manchester FM on Saturday at 2pm for Hannah’s Bookshelf. This week, I’ll be talking to the brill Inés G. Labarta.

Inés is a nomad writer and illustrator. She has lived in Spain, Ireland, Scotland and is currently established in England, where she is working on a Creative Writing PhD at Lancaster University. Her publications include a trilogy of novels, Los Pentasónicos (Edebé, 2008-2010) and the novellas McTavish Manor (Holland House, 2016) and Kabuki (Dairea, 2017). Her art can be found at worderlust.wordpress.com. She loves hiking, apples, Japan and the Highlands.

I’ll be talking to Inés about her writing, illustration and PhD work. And, of course, she’ll be sharing her selections for this week’s Apocalypse Books.

Catch us on Saturday at 2pm on 106.6FM (if you’re in the North Manchester area) or listen online (if you’re further afield).
