Tune in on Tuesday at 12 for A Helping of History on North Manchester FM. This week, it’s my Halloween Special!
I’ll be talking about (possibly) the most haunted area of North Manchester, which I’m nicknaming Creepy Corner. I’ll also be revisiting a very different Halloween when I read Yesterday’s Papers, as this week’s newspaper is from 31st October 1939. And, of course, we’ll be having the third instalment of The Heaton Park Mystery, a baffling real-life mystery that took place in 1883, and you can pit your wits against the Who Am I? quiz – just how well do you know North Manchester’s landmarks?
Do you have any spooooooky tales of North Manchester to share? Or any memories of Halloweens past that you’d like to tell? I’d love to hear from you! Text the studio on 07555 461066 or tweet me @HannahKateish.
All this, plus some vintage Halloween music, is coming up on Tuesday at 12. Catch A Helping of History on 106.6FM (if you’re in the North Manchester area) or listen online (if you’re further afield).
