Hannah Kate

poet, short story writer and editor based in Manchester

North Manchester FM: Hannah’s Bookshelf, Saturday 17 November, 2-4pm

Join me on Saturday at 2pm for Hannah’s Bookshelf on North Manchester FM. This week, my guest will be the lovely Rachel Halsall.

Rachel is a 23 year old model and writer who draws inspiration from all kinds of art, film and literature spanning from Pre-Raphaelite paintings to the writings of H.P. Lovecraft and Clive Barker. Her favoured medium of writing is short stories, having been scribbling away in notepads since she was a small and very morbid child. Rachel’s story, ‘The Ginnel’, came second in this year’s 3 Minute Scares competition.

I’ll be talking to Rachel about her writing, short stories and influences. And, of course, she’ll be sharing her selections for this week’s Apocalypse Books.

Catch the show on Saturday at 2pm on 106.6FM (if you’re in the North Manchester area) or listen online (if you’re further afield).
