North Manchester FM: Hannah’s Bookshelf, Saturday 5 May, 2-4pm

Join me on Saturday at 2pm on North Manchester FM for Hannah’s Bookshelf. This week, my guest will be the lovely John Wilmington (who you may remember from my Live Poetry Special back in March).

John has an extensive history in education and teaching. He graduated in 1981 in Literature and Philosophy. Prior to his graduation, John was involved with the music and arts scene in the North West, arranging platforms for bands such as Iron Maiden and Budgie. John is sadly widowed in recent years but has three loving children. Within the last two years John has retired to poetry and is a regular contributor to a number of poetry events across the North West.

I’ll be chatting to John about poetry and literature, and he’ll be sharing some of his poetry on the show. And, of course, John will be sharing his selections for this week’s Apocalypse Books.

Tune in on Saturday on 106.6FM (if you’re in the North Manchester area) or listen online (if you’re further afield).
